Amy MacFarlane
Amy is a glass-on-glass mosaic artist in Southampton, Ontario.
A creative soul and a world traveller, she is originally from Toronto, The Blue Mountains and now calls Southampton home. Amy has always been drawn to the arts community for its creativity, vibrancy, and diversity. She was introduced to stained glass as a teen, by her mom who is a stained-glass artist, and then reconnected with it in her recent semi-retirement.
"What I love about mosaic glass on glass, is its minimal rules, flexible and creative repurposing of glass, and substrate and it’s grouted, giving it a bit of a rustic and unique finish."
Amy is inspired by her own gardens, our community and its beauty. Each piece is one of a kind and made with repurposed frames, glass and mirrors.
