Barbara-Jean Lovell
Born in Toronto & raised in Collingwood, Barbara-Jean has always strived to live a creative life. Spending a year in the Art Fundamentals program at Sheridan College opened up the possibilities. Ultimately deciding to pursue a career in interior design led her after graduation to operate her own successful interior design business in Collingwood for almost 15 years. Then her husband's career led them to live in Nevada, British Columbia & then back to Ontario while they raised their family.
Recently re-locating to Kincardine on the shores of Lake Huron, she is looking forward to being inspired by the sun & the sand at the beautiful beaches in the area.
Painting mostly in acrylic, she is also experimenting with playful & expressive beachside watercolours. Subject matter varies as a reflection of her love of colour.
