Wendy Reid
Hi! I am Wendy Reid and I am a Multi Disciplined Fine Artist. In my art work, I feel like I am magic in motion, expressing my love of life, emotions and fascination with colour, in works of people, pets and places with a number media’s. This ranges from watercolour to Sculpture.
I have had an amazing life journey, filled with family, art, and the joy of being a Nurse. In 2015, I was winding down my Nursing career to semi - retirement. I still yearned for a formal art education. Well, my family insisted I follow that dream, and in 2018, I attained my Fine Arts Advanced Diploma, With honours! How lucky am I?
I have exhibited at the MacLaren Art Centre, Alton Mills Gallery Arts, Southampton Arts, Barrie Arts. I also love creating large art work and murals, (Collected and currently displayed in the town of Orangeville) I completed a National mural in 2024 for the Bank of Montreal Orangeville inside wall.
I am very excited to be exhibiting at The Barrie Art Gallery, featuring my Grands, in a variety of media. April 2026. Then it’s off to exhibit with The talented Shoreline Artists at our event, “Art on the Fence” in Southampton, Chantry Breezes B&B outside, on the corner of High street and main, in Southampton on August 1st, (rain date August 2nd) 2026, hope to see you there! I love the beach! Let's chat about art!
