I am a self-taught portrait artist with a lifelong dedication to exploring the human form through unconventional materials and processes. After teaching art for several years, I recently opened my own studio, marking a new chapter in both my creative and professional journey. Over the course of my practice, I have produced more than 1000 portrait sketches, working primarily in pencil and acrylic paint as a foundation for my evolving techniques.
My work has expanded beyond traditional, two dimensional media into sculpture, where I have developed a highly specialized method of creating portraits in clay. I am certified In art therapy, an influence that deeply informs my process, and my focus on emotion, identity, and human connection. To my knowledge, I am the only artist currently working with this specific clay portrait technique, which I developed independently through years of experimentation. My work is driven by innovation process, and the belief that art can be both technical groundbreaking and emotionally transformative. [email protected] |
