Diane Fretz
Diane has been painting for 15 years, beginning with watercolour before transitioning to acrylics and mixed media. She uses bold colours to create abstracted landscapes, figures and elements of nature. Her intuitive approach means she never knows what she will paint until the brush touches the canvas where colour, feeling and intuition blend to create the finished piece. As well as painting on canvas and wood, she also works on paper to create original cover art for journals. Diane retired to Southampton in 2013 and draws her inspiration from the colour and beauty of the area.
