Glenda Hird

Picture

After retiring from a career of teaching Culinary Arts and settling in Southampton, Glenda wanted to keep her creative juices flowing.  She enjoys acrylic painting and is working to develop her own individual style.

Her favourite still remains Eco printing, which is an environmentally friendly media that uses fresh and dried foliage and meets today’s need to care for our planet. There is an element of surprise each time she tries a new combination of plant matter. "Colour can come from the most unexpected places".
