I have always had an interest in the creative arts. After retiring from healthcare in 2018 and moving from London, Ontario to Southampton, I had more time to follow my passion. The picturesque scenery in the Bruce Peninsula has always captivated me and is the inspiration in many of my art creations.
Over the years, I've collected odd rocks and jars of worn glass from the Lake Huron shoreline. I use them in pebble and glass art shadow box creations with an acrylic painted background. I also create small wooden framed and large canvas resin pieces which incorporate glass, mirror, stones and shells and any embellishment that seems appropriate to the piece.
