Kristina began her drawing career as a book illustrator and graphic artist in the 1980s, and has illustrated seven books. She studied Fine Art at the University of Waterloo 1986-87; obtained her teaching qualifications from University of Western Ontario and worked as an elementary school art specialist twenty-four years. Now retired from that job, she is devoting more time to drawing and painting. Mostly self-taught, Kristina has taken a wide variety of courses with some very fine instructors, and is presently a member of and painting with Studio XX in Owen Sound. Her interests are mostly representational and subject matter varies from people and livestock to forests and water. She has had four solo shows and participated in many group and juried shows. She is pleased to be a member of the Shoreline Artists and invites you to visit her website for more information about images and events.
