Myrt Heinrich
Nature has captivated me since childhood, and painting allows me to express the emotion of a moment in time. Inspired by European masters, local artists, and studies at places like Art Spark, the Southampton Art School, LaCloche Art School, and the Ontario College of Art, my creative journey continues to evolve.
Living on the prairies, near the Algoma hills, by Georgian Bay, and winters on the Gulf of Mexico has deepened my connection to the natural world. I’ve also shared this joy through teaching, encouraging children to explore their creativity freely.
My work has been shown at the LaCloche Country Art School Alumni Show, Shoreline Artists’ Sauble Beach Show, and the Bruce County Museum. I paint in watercolour and acrylic, driven by a lifelong wonder of nature and a love for our earth’s beauty.
